  • Personal requests do not include publishing or commercial rights.
  • Processing typically takes up to 10 business days.

• Who is this for?

  Qualified nonprofits, schools, museums, and partner organizations.

  • $75 research fee
  • $50 per image

  Includes

  • Up to 2 hours of staff research
  • High-resolution digital files
  • Limited non-commercial usage rights

  Please upload one of the following:

  • 501(c)(3) documentation
  • Partnership verification

  Estimated Processing Time

  10–15 business days.

Who is this for?

Businesses, publishers, filmmakers, advertisers, authors, merchandise creators, or anyone using images for commercial purposes.

Starting Cost

• $250 per image

Includes:

• Up to 2 hours of research
• Commercial reproduction license
• High-resolution digital image

Additional Information

• Commercial requests require a signed licensing agreement.
• Rush service (under 5 business days) may be available for an additional fee.

Image requests are reviewed before payment is requested.

If your request is approved:

1. Museum staff will confirm image availability.
2. A Stripe invoice will be emailed to you.
3. Payment must be received before images are delivered.

Please note that research fees become non-refundable once staff begins preparing your request.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that:

• The Museum has the image.
• The image is available for reproduction.
• The Museum owns the reproduction rights.

Every request is reviewed individually before approval.

Unless otherwise specified:

• Images may only be used for the approved purpose.
• Commercial usage requires a licensing agreement.
