Our museum store has an always changing variety of things for sale, including one-of-a-kind antique or vintage decorative items and jewelry, clothing, and rare books. But we also carry a number of new books about Alameda history, and our latest addition is the new book by Dennis Evanosky and Eric Kos: Bay Farm Island, A Hidden History of Alameda. We have a limited number of these books available at the best price: $25! Note: Only cash or checks are accepted in our museum store. Legacy Home Tour tickets now for sale at the museum.

We started be selling Legacy Home Tour tickets at the Museum on Wednesday, September 4. The last day of the pre-sale will be September 21. The museum will be closed on the day of the Legacy Home Tour, September 22, 2019. Pre-order tickets are $35.00 each. They come with a booklet (one per group). Cash or check please (checks to be made out to ALHT). Those who bought tickets on-line can obtain a booklet (again, one per couple or family) on display of the ticket or sales receipt. Record attendance during Maker Faire

On July 7, 2019, the Summer Art Fair & Maker Market was held at Oak Street and Encinal Avenue. Museum volunteers opened the museum doors early and prominently displayed the art pieces on sale in the museum shop. The synergy resulted in record attendance (as well as museum shop sales) for 2019 - thus far.
